The Council is Uppsala Student Union’s highest decision-making body, and they form the Student Union’s opinion in important political questions, how the Student Union should use our collective funding and which students should represent you with regard to the University, the Student Health Centre (Studenthälsan), Sweden’s United Student Unions (SFS) etc. The Council is comprised of 41 students and an equal number of substitutes. Each student in the Council has been nominated by a political party and in the Council the representatives are grouped according to their political ties. It is you who decides who will sit in the Council when you vote in the Student Union election, April 7-21.
