The Student Union Council

The Student Union Council (kårfullmäktige, FUM) consists of 41 members and is elected at the annual student union elections, where all you 33 000 members have the right to vote. In other words, each member of the Council represents 830 students.


The Student Union Council is Uppsala Student Union's highest decision-making body, and decides what the Union should think, do, who should be on the Executive Board and who should represent us students in a number of important university bodies, such as the University Board (konsistoriet).
